Fate of the Galaxy is a huge, fully-featured Star Wars space combat sim that, thanks to being a total conversion mod for Freespace Open, even runs on my rubbish laptop (rockpapershotgun.com)(rockpapershotgun.com)

TL;DR of the article, generated automatically.

Free, unofficial Star Wars space sim, a total conversion of FreeSpace 2.

  • Runs on modest hardware: the reviewer ran it on an i5 laptop with integrated graphics.
  • Size and setup: about seven gigs of disc space, and no FreeSpace 2 copy needed.
  • AI question: the official site says visuals were "made by humans only". Some tutorial voice sounds artificial, per the article.
